Problem :

More often than ever we focus on the experience of the presentation. There is very limited information out there on how the presenter feels while they are presenting.

In this magazine edition, we invite you into the world of the presenter, where the art of conveying ideas is as much about the experience of the presenter as it is about the audience. Our team of five experts delved deep into what makes an ideal presentation experience for the speaker, exploring ways to empower presenters with confidence, clarity, and a genuine connection with their audience. From developing personal presence to managing anxiety and using intuitive tech, this guide is packed with insights designed to make presenting a fulfilling and impactful experience.

Approach :

Combining a multidisciplinary approach with a sharp focus on presenter’s engagement, physical environments, current technologies our team analyzed the intricacies of preparation, voice modulation, self- motivations, storytelling, visual design, and audience interaction. Through research, interviews, observations, workshops, and hands-on testing, they have developed a comprehensive guide that goes beyond the basics, offering readers fresh insights to elevate their own presentations.

Process :

The team began by defining the common challenges presenters face, such as nervousness, technical difficulties, managing audience expectations, and balancing content delivery with engagement. Through surveys and interviews, they explored the most prevalent concerns from a presenter’s perspective, gathering input from students, educators, and public speakers.

Recognizing the importance of understanding how people process information in learning environments, the team reviewed studies on cognitive engagement, attention spans, and memory retention.
